He is a consultant dermatologist specialising in paediatric dermatology, HIV-related skin diseases, male genital skin disorders, psoriasis, vitiligo, acne, eczema, hair loss, allergies, and the detection and treatment of skin cancer.

Dr Chan trained at St John's Institute of Dermatology, St Mary's Hospital, and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. His research on matrix protein 1 in human skin, conducted at King's College London with the Genetic Skin Disease Group, earned him an MD degree, numerous high-impact publications, and presentations at various conferences.

He is a consultant dermatologist at St Mary's Hospital, part of the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, the UK's first Academic Health Science Centre.

What is your cancellation policy?

To cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours' notice. A £50 holding fee is required to secure your booking with Dr Ien Chan, which will be applied to your treatment. Late cancellations may result in the loss of this fee. Appointments generally last about 30 minutes.

Can I choose my dermatologist?

Yes, you can select any of our dermatologists or nurses for your consultation. For new patients, we recommend the dermatologist best suited to your specific needs. We have both female and male doctors available for sensitive health issues.
