M22 Q-Switched Nd: YAG Laser

We utilise the gold standard in laser tattoo removal technology: the M22 Q-Switched Nd: YAG laser. This advanced laser is specifically designed to effectively erase dark ink from the skin. The term "Q-switch" refers to the type of pulse created by the laser, producing high-energy pulses that last only a billionth of a second. This rapid pulsing concentrates the energy into powerful bursts necessary to break down tattoo particles into tiny fragments. Unlike other laser technologies, the swift action of the M22 Q-Switch prevents damage to the surrounding tissue, minimising unwanted side effects. It also significantly shatters the ink into smaller fragments, allowing for easier absorption and making it an exceptionally effective method for tattoo removal.
Q-Switch lasers are differentiated by the crystal rods inserted, which allow for variability in the wavelengths produced. In this instance, the Nd: YAG laser is used, producing 1064nm and 532nm wavelengths, providing versatility in targeting different tattoo colours. Can the Procedure Be Performed on Darker Skin?

The M22 Q-Switched Nd: YAG laser is effective and safe for all skin types, including darker skin. Its broad wavelength, particularly at 1064nm, targets tattoo ink without significantly affecting melanin, preventing hypopigmentation.

What Happens Before the Procedure?
